In progress
Yesterday TDS finished phase 1 of our drainage project. The landing areas on #3, #9 and #13 were completed. During phase 1 new collector drains, catch basins and slit drains were installed. This complete system helps with all avenues of water removal and dispersal. Slit drains pull water in a wide range from both the soil and the surface. In the case of a down pour the new, properly sized catch basins will allow the water to drain off. With the installation of new large diameter collector drains we are able to handle alot of water that the existing drainage, slit drains and catch basins draw in without backing up. We also installed an interceptor drain on #3. This pipe is placed in the side hill to "intercept" any sepage making it's way to the fairway. As you can see from the pictures the equipment and meticulous nature of TDS (once completed) the work areas are neat, clean and very playable. All of the slit drains will be seeded once the settling has subsided. Until grass has grown over the drains they are to be played as Ground Under Repair.
#9 Completed
